GIS encourages employees to actively participate in various charitable activities, including long-term initiatives such as employee donation drives, purchasing New Year gift boxes for social welfare organizations, donating Christmas gifts for underprivileged children, and other community outreach activities for children. Additionally, GIS has consolidated group resources and manpower to establish the GIS Social Welfare Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) in 2016, with the mission "Love and Care for Our Next Generation." The foundation is dedicated to the principle of "people-oriented" and focuses primarily on supporting disadvantaged and disabled children and youth by providing a range of welfare services for children and adolescents.

In 2020, the Foundation established the first privately-operated parent-child space in Miaoli County, named "Play Together Parent-Child Space," to help alleviate the financial burden on families in the Zhunan and Toufen areas. The space employs professional social workers to provide consultations and organize activities. Additionally, the foundation extends its outreach into the community by offering free "family-like" parent-child spaces, putting into practice the principle of "family-centered, community-based" action.

In 2023, GIS employees participated in the Foundation's charitable activities, including public events, donation drives, and community service. A total of 340 employee engagements were recorded. The donations amounted to NT$2,135,241, with 77 New Year gift boxes ordered and 200 Christmas gifts contributed.
